DecodeStocks is live. We’re excited to offer you a platform that helps you better understand companies – with clearly presented financial data, comparable scores and a transparent AI-powered analysis.
Welcome to DecodeStocks
The time has come: DecodeStocks is live.
What originally started as a hobby project has grown into a stock analysis platform that brings company data, financial metrics and valuations together and puts them into context.
The idea behind DecodeStocks remains the same today as it was at the beginning:
We want to do more than provide financial data. We want to make it understandable.
We are excited to make DecodeStocks publicly available and to offer investors access to the full platform for the first time.
Many metrics. One clear perspective.
Investors today have access to an enormous amount of financial information. Revenue, earnings, margins, cash flows, debt, growth and valuation metrics are available from many different sources.
The harder part is turning those individual numbers into a coherent picture.
DecodeStocks therefore combines more than 30 metrics into seven comparable analysis areas and complements them with historical comparisons. This makes it easier to identify developments, strengths, weaknesses and differences in valuation.
The underlying metrics remain visible as well. Our scores are not designed to replace the data, but to help structure and interpret it.
The numbers show what happened. AI helps put it into context.
Beyond traditional financial data, DecodeStocks combines a company's financial history with segment and regional data as well as information about the underlying business.
Our AI analysis structures this information and highlights key aspects of a company.
This includes a short assessment, potential competitive advantages, as well as opportunities and risks. At the same time, the underlying data, time period and potential data gaps remain visible.
The aim is to turn a collection of individual data points into a transparent and understandable analysis.
Understand where revenue comes from – and what remains as profit
A company cannot be fully understood through a handful of financial ratios alone.
That is why DecodeStocks also visualises the journey from revenue to net income. The financial flow makes it easier to see how costs and different profit levels develop within a company.
Users can also analyse business segments and regions to understand which parts of a company generate revenue, how their importance changes over time and which markets the business depends on.
This makes it possible not only to see how the numbers are changing, but also to better understand what is driving them.
Discover companies and keep track of them
DecodeStocks is not only designed for analysing companies you already know.
The stock screener allows users to discover and compare companies based on valuation, growth, profitability and other score categories.
With watchlists and portfolios, investors can keep track of interesting companies and their own positions. The calendar provides a quick overview of earnings and dividend dates, while our news and analyses help put important developments into context.
Many core features can be explored without registration. Users who want access to the full stock analysis can additionally unlock Premium.
DecodeStocks will continue to grow
The public launch is an important milestone for us, but it is not the end of development.
We will continue to improve DecodeStocks, expand the available data and analyses, and develop existing features step by step.
Throughout that process, we want to preserve the idea at the heart of the platform:
Stock analysis. Made simple.
Not by reducing complex companies to a simple “good” or “bad”, but by structuring financial information in a way that helps investors understand it and draw their own conclusions.
We are excited to finally make DecodeStocks available and look forward to continuing to build the platform from here.
Welcome to DecodeStocks.
